Recent work for businesses in the United States and abroad

Five projects with real shops and companies, from a 25-page local lead-generation site to a store migration and a trilingual salon website. Client names are listed as they appear publicly.

Lead-generation website for a fireplace and audio dealer

Hearthbeats, Maryland, launched September 29, 2026

Hearthbeats home page with quote form above the fold
Quote form above the fold and three product lines
Hearthbeats mobile page with a fixed call bar
Fixed call and free consultation bar on mobile

The situation

The business started as one page on a website builder, with no menu and no internal links. The owner wanted calls and quote requests from homeowners across Montgomery County, not a showcase. The company does not do installation, publishes no street address and sees customers by appointment only.

What I built

Twenty-five landing pages instead of one: three product lines, a brands hub and a page for each of nine brands. One page frame: a single H1 per search query, the quote form above the fold, a trust bar, FAQs and a closing call to action. Copy written from scratch in American English, with brand facts checked against manufacturer sites.

Search and content

Local search built around the county, a blog with four in-depth articles on local questions (insert costs, gas versus wood, county permits, choosing speakers), service-area business markup, FAQ markup on every landing page and breadcrumbs.

Tracking and protection

GA4 counts form submissions and phone taps as conversions, so the owner sees how many people got in touch, not only how many arrived. Inquiries are stored in the database and sent from an authenticated domain. Form protection without visual puzzles stopped 43 spam bots in the first ten days.

Hosting

Moved to a US server, closer to the audience, with a staging copy for anything risky. The site went live three weeks before the winter season.

Online store migration, PrestaShop 1.7.8 to 8.2

Cables4sure

The situation

An online store on an old PrestaShop version that needed a full upgrade without losing customers, orders or search rankings.

What I did

Built a staging copy, took backups, and migrated customers with their passwords, orders, products, categories, tax rules and carriers. Moved the theme to PrestaShop 8 without a redesign.

Modules and shipping

Reworked UPS and USPS shipping, one-page checkout, Authorize.Net payments with refunds, Yotpo reviews and Google Merchant Center. Fixed a shipping-rate problem that came from the UPS API and added an alternative shipping module.

Search and launch

Kept the URL structure and redirects, corrected robots.txt in an emergency, launched with minimal downtime and set up a beta subdomain for outside developers.

Ongoing support for a service company

Suburban Chimneys

The situation

A chimney and fireplace company whose site was built by another agency on a third-party site builder.

What I did

Content updates, about five new service pages (wood-burning inserts, high-efficiency gas inserts, stainless liners, historic chimney restoration and others) and working email handling for the contact forms.

Why it matters

Not a build from scratch. Typical of ongoing support: a site that needs steady work to keep earning.

Corporate WordPress site and server

Lumiring

The situation

A maker of wireless access-control equipment needed a corporate site with a product catalog.

What I did

Built a WordPress site to a custom design rather than a ready template, with product lines and comparison tables of specifications.

Forms and server

Quote and technical-support request forms with email notifications. Set up the client’s VPS for the site.

Extras

Customer reviews section, news and documentation or support pages.

Trilingual salon website with online booking

Persona Beauty Studio, Lisbon, Portugal

Persona Beauty Studio home page with booking and WhatsApp buttons
Tagline, booking and WhatsApp buttons above the fold
Persona Beauty Studio online booking screen
Service, stylist and time, with the schedule alongside

The situation

A salon about to open had no website and no photos of past work, and bookings went through one stylist’s personal page on a third-party service. It needed local search traffic and a short path to booking.

What I built

Thirteen pages in each of three languages: home, a services hub with four service landing pages, pricing, about, contact and booking. Portuguese leads because that is how locals search, with English and Russian added for the district’s international residents.

Booking and pricing

Booking with a named stylist, based on real service durations and the salon’s schedule. One “Services and pricing” section is the source of truth: change a price once and it updates on every page in all three languages.

Build and handover

A custom WordPress theme and 15 Elementor widgets instead of a pile of plugins. Stylist accounts and a salon manager role let the client edit content without being able to break the site. Three days from brief to search engines.

A good example of a service business that needs more than a brochure: a clear path from search to booking, in the languages its customers actually use.
