WordPress maintenance services for small business

A WordPress care plan that keeps your site updated, backed up and fast

WordPress is not something you install once and forget. Core, theme and plugin updates arrive every month, and any one of them can break a page. For small businesses across the United States and Canada, I run the updates, keep the backups and check the site afterward, so it keeps bringing in calls and inquiries.

What goes wrong on a WordPress site nobody looks after

Whether it is an HVAC company in Texas or a dental office in Ontario, the same handful of problems keeps showing up.

Plugins fall behind

Outdated plugins are a common way WordPress sites get hacked. Updates close known security holes, but only after someone applies them.

An update breaks something

A new plugin version can clash with your theme or with another plugin. Applied without testing, it can take a site down right before a weekend.

Forms stop reaching you

A contact form can fail quietly after an update or a change in email settings. The quote requests never arrive, and you do not know they are missing.

Backups that exist only in theory

Many hosting plans advertise backups, but few owners have tried a restore. A backup that has never been restored is a hope, not a safety net.

The site gets heavier

Unused plugins, oversized photos and a growing database add seconds to every page, and mobile visitors leave before it loads.

No one is in charge

When the freelancer or agency who built the site moves on, nobody is sure about the logins, the hosting account or what is installed.

What a WordPress care plan covers each month

Back up first

A fresh copy of files and database before any change is made.

Update in a safe order

WordPress core, then the theme, then plugins, testing each group before the next.

Test what pays the bills

Home page, menus, contact and booking forms, checkout if you sell online, and the phone layout.

Watch for trouble

Signs of hacking, unexpected file changes, failed logins and error logs.

Report in plain English

A short written note on what changed and what I would do next.

Which WordPress support plan fits your business

Plan Price Best for
Zen Base from $79 / month A brochure or services site that rarely changes, such as a contractor, clinic or law office.
Zen Business from $149 / month A site you edit often and need repaired quickly if something breaks.
Zen E-commerce from $199 / month A WooCommerce store, where every hour of downtime costs sales.
Prices are in US dollars. The plans also cover sites built with Elementor, WooCommerce, popular form plugins and the common page builders. If your setup is unusual, I will tell you before you pay anything.

WordPress support questions from US and Canadian site owners

Do you need admin access to my site?

Yes. I use a separate account that you create for me, and you can delete it whenever you like.

Will you change how my site looks?

No. A care plan keeps what you have working. A redesign is a different project that we would discuss separately.

My site is already broken or hacked. Can you still help?

Start with the free audit. A hacked site gets cleaned first and moves onto a plan afterward. The malware cleanup page explains how that goes.

Can I cancel?

Yes, after the first month. A care plan has no long lock-in.

Do you also host the site?

I can, as part of a site rental. If you own the site, I work with your current host or help you move to a better one.

I am in Canada. Is that a problem?

Not at all. I work with owners across the United States and Canada, and the work is remote. If your site needs both English and French versions, tell me and we will make sure updates do not break the language switcher.

What about my busy season?

If you sell online, we can agree on a schedule that keeps larger updates clear of your busiest weeks, such as holiday shopping. A roofing or snow-removal business can plan around storm and winter season in the same way.
